SPRING 2025 𝓞𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓪 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓮𝓼 comes out of my desire to go back to the beginning of Rightful Owner. This fall I had a strong moment of doubt about being a designer, and the more I thought about it the more I searched for the reasons why I began this path. For me it was really about self exploration. As Emily Dickens said "I am out with lanterns, looking for myself." This brand is a reflection of who I am as a woman, and so this person is brave, strong, beautiful, and independent. The collection is named after a painting called Opera Roses that hangs in my room by Alanna Marohnic. It is something I often go back to and look at when I need help. Other influences are an exhibition I saw ten years ago at the V&A on Diaghilev and the Ballet Russes. And lastly, my grandfather, who passed away when I was 20, but who always saw who I was on the inside. He helped me find what I was interested in in any way that he could, often coming in the form of gifts, beautiful books, or diy crafts for jewelry making. This collection is where I began, but it is also me now, a much changed woman and mother, please enjoy.
