𝕽𝖔𝖘𝖊 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝕻𝖎𝖊𝖗𝖗𝖔𝖙 is inspired by Heather O'Neill's incredible novel The Lonely Hearts Hotel. Set in the early 1900s Montreal, the novel follows the story of Rose and Pierrot, two orphans that fall in love. I was so captivated by Rose, who uses her talent to raise herself from difficult circumstances. Her story resonates so completely with my own I felt compelled to make the collection around her.
